Ron_CA Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Just wanted to give a heads up if you are in the market for a new GM truck. If you got an owner loyalty coupon in the mail (mine was $1,500) and it expired (mine did 9/7/10) they were extended along with current incentives until 11/01/10. At least mine was, so check. The dealer can look it up on their computer and it is called TIRP Targeted Incentive Retention Program. Even if you don't remember getting one, the dealer can see if you are on the list. FWIW
Stevens03 Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Thanks for the heads-up. I'm going to ask my dealership about it tomorrow
Ron_CA Posted September 12, 2010 Author Posted September 12, 2010 Thanks for the heads-up. I'm going to ask my dealership about it tomorrow You are probably on the list since you are a current owner if you bought new. You can check right now if you want. Go to www.GMC.com , make sure you have your popup blocker disabled and go to current offers. A small chat window will pop up. Chat with the nice person and ask about the program. They can look you up right now
Stevens03 Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 I'm not getting a "nice person" popping up...

pm26 Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 And you all should realize that in the meantime GM has increased the sticker price on their trucks by at least $ 1,600. So in reality you save - 100 dollars.
Stevens03 Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Thanks Ron! I did find a nice person. The fact that they increased the prices I can't agree more with you but I'll take the additional savings I wasn't going to get yesterday

Steven, I think he was kidding Because, while there are some minimal increases on options, not $1,600. Actually, the exact same 2011 for me was +$90
