Not a new design...just new to these trucks. Anyway, I use the RainX Latitudes and I am happy with them.

Ok so the only type of blades that go on these trucks are the "pinch" type although more expensive my OEM lasted well over 70,000kms I only replaced them because I have a "source" for new ones. And I live in rain rich BC.

You can't use the normal type mounting wipers you'd see on past GM trucks (pre-2007)

I'm sure its 21.5 as you say, RainX makes a good product, but I see no need to upgrade as the factory ones are pretty good already.

I have heard of guys up north and people with plows complain about them when it snows alot though.

NAPA makes a wiper that fits I'm not sure of the P/N but someone on here will know.

They are 22 inch. Anco part #'s are C-22-PB or SP-22 with MC4 adapter. Napa # is 60224313. All of these are exact beam type replacements.

i have an "armour all" ones on my truck and absolutely love them. I will never buy any other wiper blade other then them. use "rain x" glass treatment and you don't even need wiper blades. the water beads off the windshield. my windows also don't fog with the rain x

Finding the "pinch mount" beam blades for the gmt-900s at the local big

box parts store can be hit or miss.

I found mine at the local NAPA parts store.

They have the "summer" type and also carry the rubber covered winter blades.

Direct mount........NO adapters needed like some of the other brands!

The NAPA winter rubber covered blades are pn# 60-2257-13

Those are what they call the new Pinch Tab attachment. You have to be careful because not all wiper blades have that attachment. The days of just going and buying the lengths is over. Always look up the correct part numbers.

Here is a Pinch Tab Wiper Blade Installation Video.

Checkout the NeoForms for your 2008 Silverado - I switched to these from bosch icons and they're less expensive than both the icons and the rainx latitudes. They swipe clean with no streaks and are super quiet.

Just put on my second replacement pair because one of the wiper had one streak forming from it. (I know, but I like my wipers perfect). Had two GM OEM last 100,000kms first one I changed for no reason at 60,000kms because I got a set for free.

Just put a pair of Michelen wipers (22inch of course) from Cosco, 12 dollars each in Canada. They come with the adapter for the pinch mount looks OEM even.

They work awesome, but really how GOOD can a wiper really get? It cleans the window, nuf' said.

i think the 900s are differnt from the 800s as far as blade type but steer clear of bosch brand...i went cheap on my current set and got bosch and they are the biggest pain the ass ever...they making a tapping noise on the glass and streak the water more then shed it off..also why in the hell are blades so pricey? i was going to buy the rain x ones that look like rubber sausages but they are like 35 a blade
