My Trucks Taking Corners For Me....

.... well not really but it sure as heck feels like it. I've been stalking around the forum a while now but havn't had any issues or advice i could provide...untill now...My 06 sierra was pulling to the passenger side hard so I did the easy thing first, check tire pressure which was about 8 pounds low but all the way around so thats not it. Next step alignment. Just got that done the front end was slightly out but nothing too bad. The truck is still pulling to the left, not as bad but still pullling. The pull gets substantially worse when stopping, even slow stops.

The question is can the wheel bearing going out cause this? If not any other ideas. Could it be a brake hanging up and pulling me to the left? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Switch the front tires. One of them could have radial run-out.

+1 and see if it follows

Just last year on my 06 the calipers went bad and were causing similar issues... The slide pins were sticking bad and nothing would cure them.. had to get them replaced..

Just had the tires rotated so I dont think its the front tires. I guess the next step is to check the brakes I guess. Thanks so much for the advice so far. Keep it coming.

Did the problem start right after the rotation or was it doing it before?

tie rods?.... have a good alignment shop check over everything... NOT the dealer.

I had Firestone do the alignment. Would they be qualifed as a "good alignment shop"?

It was doing the problem before the rotation and is still doing it after the rotation

Not where I live. The Firestone store here put the wrong pressure in the tires even though the size and pressure sticker was on the door jamb.

The Firestone store here cannot align a truck properly to save their lives.

I had to get the Goodyear store to straighten mine out. They screwed the camber. The manager at Firestone told me it was as close as they were going to get it. I don't go back there.
