Another post got me looking at my trucks transformation so since LSU doesn't play until 2:30 I figured I'd start a post of the transformation. Feel free to add your transformations also

I don't have any stock pics, because these mods were done pretty much immediately.

(3" bl, 2" level, 305/55/20 Nitto Terras, 20" Liquid Metal wheels, Go Rhino Dominator II's.)

 

 

 

Then I painted the bowtie black and added the bull bar. I even took a short stab at chrome door handles.

 

 

 

*** Edit *** in this time frame I had the unfortunate experience of installing the Rough Country 3" lift. No pictures were taken, because I was too busy being PISSED. It was quickly removed.

 

 

Then I became sad and envious everytime I was around my buddies 08 with a Fabtech, plus my tires rubbed. So I ran down and picked up a 6" BDS HC suspension and some 325/60/20 Nitto Terras. This pic was taken the day I got it home with newest additions.

 

 

 

Influenced by the almighty truck forum world, the truck was debadged.

 

 

 

Then I got tired of the truck. So I yanked the bull bar, painted the front bumper, and added tow mirrors.

 

 

 

Then I figured the rear needed to match, so...

 

 

 

The grille followed and this is how it sits today....FOR NOW!

nice trucks guys, i hope to have my mods start stacking up soon, trucks been in my posession less than a month was at a body shop today talking about getting the truck buffed and body line down line-x'd or chip guarded... cant wait to put lift and bigger tires!

Stripped and primed, original 4.3L and Turbo 400 with 60,000 on the clock

 

Painted, new glass, re-chromed, everything in the cab was replaced, rims sandblasted, '70 Z28 350ci motor (stroked it to 383ci), 760cfm Holley Carb, long tube headers, true dual 2.5" exhaust, gauges under the dash, seat cover, spray-in bed liner, I'm sure there's more

Bought in Feb 2008

 

 

 

4,000 miles later....

 

 

 

Tint, exhaust, CA intake, and tonneau cover were added somewhere in there.

 

 

Added tow mirrors and some Bilstein 7-9" struts.

 

 

 

 

 

Still not done.... 14b, built trans, and super charger/engine mods next!!!
