Help With My 98 Cheyenne

I have a 98 cheyenne. I pulled the vortec 350 to put in my camaro. Then i installed a 85 350 carb motor that i had laying around. Everything works great but my dash lights. They flicker on and off. I was just wondering what could cause this. They worked fined before the swap but now there arnt. Could it be my alternator not putting out enough amps. Headlights also work. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Sounds like a loose ground wire or one not making good contact.
