Hey Guys,

I figured that I would start a thread on Auto Insurance questions. Please read the guidelines before posting or replying as I want to have this thread to be as informative as possible. Thanks.

Guidelines:

- No discussions of which insurance company is better (hopefully through this thread, one will be educated enough to make that choice on one's own)

- Underwriting Questions are welcome, however IF specific questions are related to a specific company, please obtain a copy of the contract and I will try to help out.

- If you have access to your contract in the form of a PDF, Word File or any other format, feel free to post it

- Definition questions are welcome

- "What If" scenarios are welcome, however bear in mind that I will give you my view on each "What If". This will help you understand the thought process (with respect to each scenario), it will obviously not be an "All Inclusive" answer/response.

- Please, no yelling (that means no postings with the caps lock left on). That hurts mine and everyone else's eyes.

- Please, no pot shots or any kind of attacks on those who participate in this thread

Remember the best defense for insurance:

Contract of Adhesion

(What "Contract of Adhesion" Means for Insurers:

Expressed simply, a contract of adhesion means that any doubt or ambiguity in a policy provision will be resolved against the party that drafted it. Since the insurer drafted the policy, any question concerning its meaning will ordinarily be decided against the insurer and in favor of the insured. )
