Laser Blue

Looks similiar to the blue my '04 had. Don't ask me what the name or code was. Doesn't look purple to me.

 

That color is called Arrival Blue Met.,RPO code 91U - WA815K

Would you anit-blue folks like the metallic blue on the recent 'vettes & Camaros?

 

I refer the Imperial Blue as Roast pan Blue Metallic. A friend had a '87 1/2 ton that was the same shade, but non-metallic. Not a real exciting colour.

 

IMO red, black & white are fleet colours, w/ the prevalence of pewter/silver/grey & the varying shades every year, there isn't a lot of choices to avoid having the same colour as the next truck.

 

I think in the late 70s/early '80s colour choices numbered in the teens. I see a lot of yellow Dodge pickups on the road, so I imaging there is a market for that colour. Now, that Heritage Green Metallic on the Camaros might be a stretch for a truck. Mind you there is the supposed "high school girl demographic".

It is not even close to the arrival blue color. Arrival blue is 100X better

Laser Blue Metallic was also offered on the Equinox for a few years (not that it matters )

I like it. Always have, When I bought mine it was available but I would have had to go with a LT instead of an LS

Imperial Blue Metallic is RPO 37U, WA403P.

I have to say I really like it, I bought the only 2010 that my local dealer ordered. I like having a color that is different than most others.

 

And it only looks purple when you look at it in the sunlight from an angle, any other time it looks blue. If you look straight at it, you can definitly tell it is a blue truck.

 

 

I like it. Looks like the same Laser Blue color that was used a few years back on some Impala SS's.

Is Laser Blue similar to the Radar Blue from the 90's? I have a Camaro painted that color and loved it.

I like it actually. I've never seen it in a light that I thought it looked purple. However, I'm a large amount color blind.
