Cargo Load Bar/Bike Rack?

Looking for a cargo load bar that can double duty as a bike rack.  Yakima had one but changed to some funky strap in the tailgate thing.  Thule has one for the bikes and sits flush to the floor of the bed not good as cargo bar.  Save-A-Load has the about the closet yet.  Are there any others?

I plan on cutting a 2x8 or 2x10 to fit between the vertical slots in the sides of the bed - and then getting 2 bike wheel QR mounts and attaching them to the top of the 2x8...

That's about what I was resorting to.  Only the top piece a 2x4 and at each side a 2x4 cut riser on each side to allow something to still slide under.  The other addition I was going to do along with mounts for the bikes, was some sort of hooks for plastic grocery bags (similar to that on the Dodge minivans)
