Onstar Mirror Wiring 2011 Silverado

Is there key on power source going to the rear view mirror with onstar. I'm looking for a nice easy place to hard wire my V1 detector. I usually have it right next to the mirror anyway so I was hoping there was something in the wire harness I could use. If not where would the next best place be? I don't feel like ripping everything apart before I have a good ideal of where to go. Thanks for the help.

There is another thread on here (http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=78594 ) where someone took the overhead Homelink/light/mike panel loose. Looks like two clips and two screws to get it off. I would take that panel off and get a volt meter and start testing for switched 12volts starting with solid red wires. If you want constant 12V I would test solid yellow wires (if any).
