Key Fob 1, Battery Low...

ok a little background. ive had my truck 3 weeks, the week i bought it my keyfob stopped working. no big deal, figured the battery had died. so i bought a new battery and before i replaced it the fob started to work again. i replaced it anyway just to be safe. today in the morning i was having a hard time unlocking the doors. went to work, and after work it wouldnt lock or unlock the doors. so i get in the truck and its telling me the battery is low for key fob 1. wtf? its 2 weeks old, so i go visit my friends at gm, which made this visit number 5 in the last 3 weeks, nice huh. anyway, i sit in the waiting room for 2 hours, struggle to stay awake and then the guy comes out and tells me they dont know what it is. they have no idea why the cluster is telling me the battery is low. they checked the battery with a meter and also put it on top of their ancy little box that measures who knows what and it all checked out. but the truck keeps saying its low and twice now has stopped working. gms answer, we dont know. you know for the money i spent on the truck and the fact i bought this $4000 warranty i expect a little better than we dont know.

so im turning to the people on this forum who have proven to be smarter than most of the dumbasses that work for the dealer i deal with. and im asking you guys, why is it randomy not working and why is the truck telling me the battery is low even though its new.

Are you sure its not the truck battery that it is referring to?

the only thing is the cavy fob has a trunk button on it that would be useless here. ill just try fob two and see if anythign else happens. thanks for the help guys
