4 Inch Bds Lift Kit

Just purchased a bds 4'' lift. before i install it i want to have tires for it. Whats the biggest tire i can run on stock 17'' wheel. Whats a popular 18'' rim tire size for this lift.

I would think a 33x12.5 would fit on either 17's or 18's. Might have to trim some plastic but I'm not real familiar with what fits with the 4" BDS.

The Mickey Thompson ATZ 305/65/17 would probably look good. Again I"m not sure how much trimming you may need to do though.

If too much the 285/70/17 should work 33x11.5

I ran the 305/65/17 ATZ on a 2.5" leveling, those will be more than fine

Any pictures of the finished truck with the lift and tires? Look at getting the same lift.

BDS recommends a max tire size of:

 

Tire & Wheel Combinations

32" x 11.50" w/17 x 9 and 4.5" back spacing

33" x 12.50" w/18 x 9 and 5" back spacing

33" x 12.50" w/20 x 9 and 5.75" back spacing

 

according to their website. to figure out the right size in metric units, just google tire size calculator

I'm running a 33x12.50x18 on 18" wheel with +18 offset. It rubs a little at full lock in reverse, hope this helps some.

how much do your front wheels/tires stick out of your wheel wells? i've been looking at a 20x9 wheel with +18mm offset but worried it sticks out wheel well too much. i want mine to be flush with the edge of the fender.
