Hello all,

 

I've lurked around here a time or two, and decided to take the plunge. I've got a 10 Sierra 1500 4x4. It's a crew cab SLE. It's unmolested for now, but depending on how the current situation plays out, it may see a lift, tires and wheels, and exhaust. I came back to GM and gassers (because I couldn't afford a new D Max) when I bought this rig a few months ago. I came from a chevy family, and this is my 5th GM truck. I've been through a few other rigs too though- 3 Fords, 2 Scouts, and a lone Dodge. I'm Active Duty Air Force, currently living in South Dakota.

 

I'm glad to be here, and look forward to talking with you all.

First, Love the Username, must be a 1911 kinda guy...Me too, got several including a Kimber! Second, You must be in Rapid City, as that would be the only Active duty Location that I am aware of in SD, Me too! Third, I myself just bought a 2010 SLE Crew 4X4 yesterday actually. This is not my first GMC, I started with a 99 when they first came out with the new body, moved on to a 04 Crew cab, then to a 07 Crew Texas Edition, now on to the 10 4X4. Anyway, if you want to talk trucks, or 1911's for that matter, shoot me a pm.

You've got me pretty well pegged there, brother. Congrats on the new rig. We've likey crossed paths and didn't even know it. You have probably even seen my last truck driving around base, it kind of stands out.

 

I don't have any decent pics of it. It's painfully stock anyway. It'll probably be about 7 months before I get any pictures worth showing. I did work window tint and Rhino Lining into the deal when I bought it. The wife says it's too boring for her to drive.

I have the same problem, but the wife won't let me buy anything for the truck right now...I lost a few nice things when I turned the 07 over to the dealership.
