I kinda see your point there, but that doesn't cost money and downgrade the look of the vehicle. It just gives you a dumb name to call it loll

I have had the GM bug deflector on my SD for 2 years. Recently, I have seen it lift off the hood at highway speeds and appear like it was going to fly off.

I removed it and saw that the 2-sided tape was no longer sticky and the deflector was able to pivot about the 2 end clips.

I have re-installed it with some 3m double sided tape. I went back out on the highway and ran up to 75mph and it is now solid again.

So anyone who uses this deflector, the tape does not last long.

Unfortunetly, I have some small scatches caused by it wobbling. Now I am out to buff those out.
