hi guys,

Not sure if this is a question you can answer or not but here goes my wife drives a 2004 Buick Rainier. It has a power sunroof, a roof rack, and an Onstar antenna, After a heavy rain water runs out of the overhead console i have checked the drains from the sunroof they are clear i removed the roof rack and sealed all the nutserts and put liquid teflon on the bolts still getting water!! my dealer says that it is probably the sunroof and it needs to be "reworked" whatever that is any maybe you guys can point me in some sort of direction without having to remove the headliner. thanks in advance.

the drains may seem clear but are they connected. They can pop off or rot after a couple of years, the tubes are rubber afterall.

Also, check the rubber seal that runs around the edge of the sun roof to make sure it is still in one piece.

Last, the sun roof needs to sit about flush with the surrounding roof for the best seal. This may be part of what the Buick needs. PITA to do but doable at home.
