I locked the keys in the 2003....

and Chevy roadside service had to come out and help me get the thing unlocked..  If the onstar had been activated it would have been easy, but the thing is so new that it hasn't been yet. (we are doing it tomorrow)

haha, glad you got it taken care of.  I've done that once w/ the truck still running, had to wait two hours for my dad to bring the spare key, ever since then I've always carried a spare key in my wallet.

When I got the flat I found when backing in the driveway, the tow service had to do a lockout on my rado after he towed it and the speed sensor locked them at over 20.  I was not happy, but I guess I should've left the window down.

Only time i ever locked m ykeys in my truck was at the chevy dealership haha.  I took ti in for service and for some reason thought they took my keys and hit the lock button (instinct).  Came back and they were like do you have your keys?  OPPS hehe My truck was blocking the bay for about 20 min before i could get the spare set

Yeah, I did a real slick one not long after I got Old Green.  Of course, it was at a customer's site, and with MY BOSS!  

 

Called AAA (not to be confused w/ AA    ) and it took the guy quite some time to "jimmy" the lock - this was his first new body style.

 

Of course, about 1-2 weeks later, I got the spare in the mail - has been in my wallet ever since! (DOH)

I always carry my spare key in for my S-10 with me too!

But, this not being my truck, and me not having a spare set of keys....

 

Plus, everyone i talked to (Onstar and Roadside) couldn't understand when i said "Its NOT MY TRUCK, Chevrolet owns it!).

That may be the 1 good thing about the Blue Oval...their sh*t is easy to get into.  We don't as many lockouts at my current place as we did when I was an auxiliary in a different town, but the newer stuff gets tough.  Generally locks with a vertical function are easier to work with.  There are so many specific tools that people come up with nowadays though.  I've got a little stash, but wouldn't use them at work to make it worthwhile to carry.
