Sup fellas, New guy here.

Anyone know an online vendor for OEM rubber flooring for an '02 2500HD Crew Cab?

OR

Someone want to trade me one for my brand new black carpet?

I got a rubber floor because that's what they had in the lot. I really had to convince myself it was no big deal not to have carpeting. Now tht I have it, I can't imagine it any other way in a truck.

I looked in the JC Whitney catalog, no luck. The lastest they go is for the last gen and that was for the suburban. The price is $335. I would try making a deal with your local auto upholestry shop.

I wanted the rubber floor, so I ended up getting a base Silverado! Carpet looks terrible after I get in and out so many times!

I actually don't mind base models. Our old 1986 Ranger was a base model...rubber floor, vynil seats, no A/C, no cassette, no power freatures, etc...

A base model truck, which I have, still has A/C, AM/FM Stereo, anti-lock brakes, air bags, tilt wheel, automatic tranny, and delay wipers. Not too much 'base' about it when you think back to just a few years ago.

I bought the base because I wanted a new truck and that's what I could afford. My old truck I bought used and it was 'loaded'.

The only thing I really miss is the power locks. With a crew cab, they should be standard!

Yeah, base models are getting better and better equipped, though it is nice to be able to get a truck with just the bare essentials. Our Ranger had next to nothing feature wise, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Our new one is an XLT, so it has some more stuff, but we still decided against the power package (though the power locks would be nice at times).
