2004 Silverado Upgrades

I have a 2004 Silverado 2WD 1500. Love the truck but looking to upgrade a few things. It came factory with power mirrors. I would like to add the ones that are heated and with the turn signal built in. I also want to put the steering wheel on that has stereo controls. Is the wiring there or will I have to rewire? I know on my 07 Impala the steering wheel was plug and play but not sure on the Silverado. Any insights would be appreciated.

Look around this has been discussed before. IIRC trucks with power windows have the wires in the door and trucks with crank windows don't.

the wheel you will need to replace the clock spring.

To get dic controls and redundant radio controls on your truck you will need the steering wheel and a new clock spring (SIR coil). And then some programming from the dealer. I have done this upgrade.
