They offered it to me for $33,995. I'm not dumb enough to take it for there first offer but it already seems like a good deal so I'm wondering how much lower I should go with an offer

Canada I assume? Don't really have any clue what kind of rebates and stuff they offer there and its only 10 mins away lol. But thats pretty awesome you can get the dl8 mirrors with auto dim and the signals on the sle trucks

Meh i would see if you could get it lower than 33. I just got the exact same truck except mine has the 6.2l and tow package. It was 31 something after 2500$ cash back, 2005$ for financing through ally finance, 1400$ for camaro trade in and 500$ for military discount. I could have paid it in cash but i took the finance deal to get the 2005$ discount and to help build a credit score. Ill pay it off in a year or so once i make some payments to raise my score. Id say around 30,000$ maybe a little less for yours.

O yeah didnt notice the whole L\KM on the sticker, guessing that means your in canada. Still i would try to get the price down a little.

Yes I should have mentioned I'm in Canada. Hence the 45,780 Sticker price.

The advertised rebates are around 9500 so there already beating that

Its nothing special, cloth interior, bench seat, has remote start, power seats, auto climate, power fold mirrors, exct but it deff isnt loaded.

Not trading anything in so they cant work me there.

There is about 10-12% markup from invoice to MSRP. so 45,780-33,995 = 11,785 - 9500 Rebates = $2285. Then say 10% of MSRP is 4500 so $4500-2285 = $2215 left to negotiate.

Sounds pretty good to me.Im looking into the 2011 gmc sierra 3500hd srw denali for 56 out the door.it has the 6.0 with 6 speed 4:10 gears.

sounds like they are shooting to make around 2 grand. that's a pretty reasonable profit for being their first offer. I mean, they aren't trying to take you for a ride. I respect dealers like that. not to say you shouldn't work them for a bit more

Dude, it sounds like a very good price for Canada...i hear about tons of Canadians paying well over 40k for 1500s. Id jump on it if i were you.

Whereabouts in Canada are you that they're giving $9500 right now? It's only $7500 here (near Waterloo, ON).

I'd like another $2k off the truck I ordered  Actually, that truck is configured quite similar to the one I ordered, except I don't have the tow package or block heater. Must be something on mine that's not on that truck, though, as mine's stickering at $47,680 - or pricing is different where you're located. A quick glance shows the Z71 package at $495 on yours, and $530 on mine... wonder what's up with that, exactly (pricing is coming from gm.ca). Other options look to be priced the same. I see it now - MSRP here is $39,575, vs $37,910 on yours. Very odd :)

Seems like a good deal to me - I'm paying about the same with GM Employee Discount.

My truck stickered at $44,750 and I then got a $4500 GM rebate(back on the fourth of july), then got $2,200 off from dealer, $1800 off in GM Card points, and had $3300 in positive equity from my 2007 GMT900( all this on a 2010 Chevy Silv). I was satisfied. Everyone wants the lowest price available, that's nothing new. Some dealers have taken advantage of their customers and built different reputations. Pay sticker... not unless you want/ have to. But I have heard some seriously ridiculous low prices paid on here before. Bottom line, they have staff and inventory to account for. If everyone pays $100 over invoice they couldnt keep the company car wash open. I dont own a dealership. I dont think that many of you that offer any number of possible products/ services, would be willing to knock 20-25% off of each one. I think its best to find a good dealer with a good service department and meet in the middle. That deal sounds good, but what do I know. I dont haggle for a month, nor do I make a habit of walk outs.

$11,000.00 off of sticker and you are not driving it?

What the hell are you waiting on?
