i really don't know much about how much about getting trucks painted but how much do you think im looking at to get my 02 gmc sierra regular cab painted at macco and/ or at a body shop. im looking to to get a descent paint job nothing too crazy. i wanna get painted black again and maybe a nice red pin stripe.

+1 on Macco Picture a drive through car wash but instead of water, they use paint. That is about the quality you will get....

I see a lot of these cars where they do not even mask off the rubber trim around the windows and just paint over them. If you are really considering this route, you would be better off spray painting it yourself...

OMG DO NOT GET MACCO to paint your truck. It WILL be worse than you started. Google the BBB and check out the 1000000 complaints. :P

Yea, but with Macco he can get it totally repainted for $99.95! :P

STAY AWAY FROM MACCO

Hahaha i've always compared MACCO to a drive through car wash too! Swipe your card and drive through! They are terrible, and there will be overspray on EVERYTHING! And 2 weeks after that the rest of the paint on the body will chip away

I knew this older couple about in there 70s and they got there 90s old cutless repainted by Macco he show me the paint job and he thought it was great but they painted over the pin striping the was painted on by the factory you could still see the pin strip under the paint, never bothered to sand it down and the orange peel was terrible also they had over spray on the wheel well moldings.

if you can find a buddy or a friend of a buddy that owns a good shop, then prep it yourself.

The biggest part of the job is Prep sand ,cleaning, taping the truck can take you the better part of a day if it needs nothing. filling paint chips can add a lot of time. Dings and dents even more. Your doing black so anything you miss will show
