Rancho puts out a good product, but some people down it becasue it is sold at every part store. Rancho is made by Monroe and usually carries a lifetime replacement on the shocks. It may not be the current hot trend, but it is a great shock and a good company. Rough Country is another kit that I have sold in the past and had good success with, but there are many others. Very nice truck btw!

 

thanks, i havnt decided if im going to go with a 6" suspension lift or a 4"...i think for the difference in price might as well go with the 6", BDS is looking like the best cost effective - quality ratio...

Beautiful truck, I'm next door here in Manitoba and I'm wanting to get a levelling kit as well, are these pics just a levelling kit as far as suspension goes? My truck is the exact same in every way to yours but its silver birch metallic, I'll definitely be following your progress.

I like those all terrain rims !! I have a 2011 all terrain and wish i had those . I have chrome clad 18" on mine. Keep them.

i am again thinking about adding more lift to the front end. i love the rancho and cst 4" lifts but $2000 is a lot of money! and i am not a huge fan of body lifts anymore..

 

does anyone have any quality ideas to raise the front end up for a good price? readylift 4"?

 

i am also going to scrap the mudflaps soon

I have that style of mudflaps on my Silverado, only down side is that when backing up in decent snow this is no give and pushes the snow intill they break off (pulls the screws out of the sheet metal). I have seen some of these come back in after this has happened at the dealership I work at. In addition, with the temperature at 102 yesterday I noticed mine not truely hugging the frender lip like they use to after doing a quick lunch break wash job.

the RC 2" leveling kit, did you install it yourself?

 

As for the winter weight, I put in 4 3x2 1" patio slabs (98lbs each) the Rhino Liner I have keep them in place.

 

I put the rubber GM box floor pad and still use the box normally in the winter rolling the sons goalie bag in no problem.

yes i did it myself with my brother, took about 3 hours without power tools

RL 4" is trash. Your only options are a real suspension lift or a BL.

yeah i have been reading some of the posts about ready lifts kit. i have yet to come across anyone who has actually tried the kit and had problems, everyone just bashes the kit with no real experience with it.
