Horn Honked Twice

hey everyone.

we have been having cold / snowy weather in the northeast. yesterday I went out to start the truck and let it warm up. Upon starting the horn honked twice and the drivers turn signal lit up in the towing mirror. turned it off and restarted it and everything was fine. tonight I came home and turned the truck off and the horn honked twice again. I read the manual and can't find anything relating to it.

Have the collective wisdom of this board ever run across this before?

I'm not positive, but I think it may be related to the battery in your key fob being low. I had the same thing happen but I have a viper remote start on my 96, but it honked twice and that was the culprit.

So I'd try your other fob and see if it still does it.

I have a 08 Sierra

Sounds to me like the TPMS went into learn mode for some reason. If so the turn signal was not have been blinking but on steady.
