Under Seat Storage Box

I just baught a 2011 sierra sle extended cab. I would like to get a under seat storage box for it, but can't bring myself to pay the $175can at the dealer for one. I have seen some aftermkt ones for cheaper, but dont want a POS.

 

Anybody know where you can get something good for cheap

If you're just looking for any type of underseat storage, I use some rubber maid boxes that fit under the seat. It's not a full under the seat storage box but it holds junk and stays under the rear seat of my crew cab. If that's something you'd be interested in I will get the size of the container for you.

 

And for the record I got the idea from someone else on this forum. I didn't come up with it myself

I'd like to know what size you are using. I also saw someone on here using a blue plastic box that I think was for carrying soda or something, like a milk crate but shorter.

I will get the size boxes and take some pics of what they look like under the seat but it will be tomorrow before I can do it.

I just use a tote with a snap lid, you can kinda see it in the pic. I have 2 under the seat that hold all my tie-downs, draw bar & ball,booster cables, work gloves etc etc

i spent the 130.00 installed from the dealer...when the seat is down it looks really good...looks factory...

Weathertech floor mat. It fits like a glove and doesnt move, I just wish it was still that clean!!

Like what is already posted I use these Sterilite 15qt boxes with snap lids.

They fit perfect under the seats and keeps stuff from sliding all around.

 

 

Not the same set up as the complete under the seat storage box but a nice cheap alternative.

Those are the exact same totes (boxes) that I use. Easy in and out, dont have to flip up the seat!

 

The under seat storage box does look nice tho.
