PLEASE help I hate taking truck to the dealer. Have an 04 2500 LT with climate control. Set to 90 and blows hot turn to 89,88,87 etc. blows cold. Does this in auto and maual. Anybody ever have that happen.

Sometimes the auto systems get whacked out if a sensor (in the headliner above the driver's head---looks like a speaker) comes off and becomes mispositioned behind the headliner. When it does this, it never reads 'real' temp so the system gets confused. Usually, it'll blow hot for too long in the winter and blow cold for too long in the summer at a specific temp setting though, which sounds backwards from what you're describing so I'm not 100% sure this is the problem. It sounds like the temp door in the system is moving, otherwise I'd think it was stuck. Strange.....

I had a similar issue in an earlier Chevy I owned. Dealer replaced the air gate and it worked flawlessley since.

having this issue with my 10 ltz. dealer says reprogram and will be all set.
