Cheap Friends

Well I've had enough! I got some select friends who always seem to need me to pick up something or want some of what I have on the basis of they will pay me when I get there or give me back the same amount of what I give them at a later date.

Lets just say I almost always get back less (money/stuff)! I've had enough! I'm pissed off! I don't care if they don't like it! Everyone can pound sand!

Ok...

Anyone else got friends like this?

yeah, i have a friend like that. he has a ranger and never drives it becasue gas is to expensive supposedly... about 3.30 a gal. where i am. he rides his dirt bike everywhere on the roads to save gas.

i only give rides to people who do stuff for me or help me out or if its a really hot girl

bottom line, i dont have any tolerance for someone bumming a ride unless its an emergency

My wife has a friend that is the queen of mooching. She lives on welfare, has kids for child support checks, and always have a sob story for us to pay for something. People like that piss me off.

When we use to paintball there was one guy who never had money. We all used to split the cost of the materials and we would always go eat afterwards. He never had money supposedly so we would end up taking care of it. We stopped inviting him.

Well... I don't have any friends here let alone cheap ones.. I do however (although its diminished over the last year) a pack of clueless, non mechanically inclined college aged kids who come to me with every car problem under the sun.. I've never received a dime from any of them.. from fuel pumps to electrical problems to tires.. sheesh!

It is the drunk calls for a drive home at 2 and 3 am that anoy me, I always leave my fone on silent at night and some morning you wake up to a few hate texts and voicemails for people who expect you to get out of bed n go get them

I've had friends like this before. One of them was very easy to get rid of though....I asked him for gas money finally.....

I don't mind giving someone a ride if i don't have to go out of my way or a little way. I have a couple friends the mooch, in my school you can't walk down the hall with food, people will bag for it and hound you for a piece, then when you ask for some, they call you the mooch.

The people that piss me off the most, are the drunk and High kids that get stuck in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night and they expect you to pull them out just cause you have a big truck. And if i do go i will take me about hour and a half to two hours to get back to home. In the middle of the day when im bored i will go. but it costs them $20 if they are really far the price goes up. I have a real good friend tho if he feels like touring around and he thinks he might get stuck he will call me and asks me if i would be able to come pull him out if he does get stuck, if no he turns around. and he will pull me out anytime if i get stuck.

If you don't have friends like that, you might want to make sure you aren't that way. Generally you either have friends like that, or you are the one...

We have one in our group that is unreliable. So we never give him anything other than chips to bring to the parties. We gave him the meat responsibility one time, cancelled last minute and we had to make a run to the store during the first quarter of the game.
