2011 Climate Problems

Recommended Posts

My 2011 has 950 miles on it, and I have ran only heat thus far. Works fine. Today, the temperature was over 70, so I turned on the AC. Damn thing kept blowing warm air! The only way I could get it to finally blow cold air was to turn the climate control all the way to heat, wait a few seconds, and then turn it all the way back to cold. Anybody else have this problem? And before you ask, yes, the AC button was on Lol.

According to your post, you enabled the A/C compressor, but STILL had the temp knob in the HOT position.

You have manual A/C controls

You have to turn it to COLD to get A/C cooling...

No, no, no. The AC was enabled and the climate control was at the farthest cold setting, but it blew hot (warm, really). To get it to blow cold I had to move the climate control all the way to the furthest hot setting for a few seconds, then all the way back over to cold; then it engaged.
