Yukon Denali Rear Door Not Locking

Hi everyone,

 

I need some help my denali rear door isnt locking when I arm the alarm all other doors lock up fine

 

if you pop the back glass or open the door the alarm doesnt go off until the OEM alarm trips and starts to honk

 

Any idea why that might happen? I just found out today after all this time and all my stuff just sitting in there

I am having the same problem. Did you figure this our? I am pretty sure it's the relay/solenoid that actuated the rear door locks but I don't know where that is.

Don't know what year you have, but the relays should be in the LH end of the dash. Put your fingers on the relays while you activate the locks. Replace the one that is not clicking when locks are cycled. You can swap the relays to test this out.

This happened to me about 1 mth ago. It's the lock actuator that is bad. You can pop out your door panel and try unlock and lock and you might see it move a little but not enough to fully engage or disengage. Very easy fix
