Electronics Noise

I was wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to getting rid of the noise these trucks carry with the electronics? Whenever I have my phone plugged into the charger and playing thru the stereo, or my sat radio, there is a hiss.

 

I know there have been discussions about this issue before, just wondering if anyone has found a solution.

If you unplug the charger the noise stops? If so, try an different charger, sounds like yours is emitting "RFI" noise.

doesn't matter what charger I use, I have tried multiple. Its a noise being emitted from the truck

I haven't experienced this problem. I've used an inverter with a laptop playing movies and that didn't cause any noise either.

there was another thread on this a while back, it doesn't happen to all trucks just some of us more fortunate folks. I am just worried its going to interfere with my new deck

Am I understanding that you are using your phone to play Music through the stereo? If so what you have is called a ground loop. Do some searching on you favorite electronics site such as Amazon and you will find several products to solve the problem.

only some of my chargers make the whine in my 01 and my 03's dont whine at all. my blackberry charger and ac inverter dont make any whine but my ipod charger and girlfriends samsung charger emit a whine, very annoying.

Been there, tried that on my satellite receiver and it did nothing. oh well, hopefully the electrics on the new deck are good enough to combat this issue

I have noticed this with some chargers but I have also noticed it when playing a cd and the music goes really low I can hear the same whine thru the speakers.

Is the wire from the phone to the truck radio shielded? If not, you may be getting noise picked up by that cable.

you can hear it in the stereo even when its off when I put the directional on. When I hit the brake, or press the gas, its doesn't whine per-say but its a tone change. Its annoying, I listen to a lot of talk radio and all I here in the background is this thing...
