I have a 1999 c-2500 (old style) with the 5.7 and 4l80e and 93000 miles. When i went to start it today at just cranked for a long time and fired one what sounded like 2 cylenders and then stalled. i tried a few times and it did the same thing. i tested fuel pressure and it was good (around 60psi, maby low 60's after cycling key a couple times same as its been for a couple yrs). Since it is 40 degrees and lightly sprinkilng today i put a blow dryer on top of the dist cap for 10 minutes thinking that there might be some moisture in there. But afterward it still did the same thing. Anyone have any ideas? I replaced fuel filter and battery last year

I just rented a code reader and tested it, it said " no codes" so im guessing that eliminated the CKP sensor

If it cranks over, its not the starter fuse. 60 psi fuel pressure should be sufficient to start. If it sounded like it was trying to start, I would check the cap and rotor. Probably all corroded up. Check for spark at the plugs.
