Well I Finally Did It - Again

After debating on what to buy to haul the family and the boat, I finally pulled the trigger. I was looking at the big block suburbans but found a nice 2006 2500HD sporting the 6.6 DMax with the 6 speed Ally trans. Of course it is a crew cab with the bench front seat, and I already sourced it for a trip out to dinner with 5 other folks... My son and I flew to Texas and drove back 1000 miles in 14 hours. Average 18 mpgs all the way while maintaining a nice 75 mph. Now the boss is shopping 5th wheel trailers....

Nice, those things have an amazing power to mileage ratio. Going 75mph I might not even get 18 in my 1500 5.3.
