Hello! I have been looking at this site a while and finally registered. I have a 2010 Silverado extended cab LT with no factory options. I am doing a few mods here and there. I am thinking about getting chrome colored step bars but am worried about them getting rusted and worn from the road salt. Any recommendations on a good type to get?

As far as the steps sounds like stainless steel would be the ticket for you

Welcome to the site! I like your avatar (I'm from Cincinnati originally). I would suggest stainless steel steps to deal with the salt cover roads.

I've got a set of factory chrome 3" tube steps that lasted 5 years and counting without issue in Pa winters. I think if you wash them regularly, you'll be fine with chrome.

Take a look at craigslist. Not to long ago someone in Greenwood I believe had the chrome GM 6" steps for sale. They should hold up well with normal cleanings etc.

I'll have to check Craigslist out. Ryan, I think it's going to be another disappointing season for the Cubs. I believe their roster is about the same as last years. I think the Reds will take the NL Central again. Should be an exciting division. Can't wait for baseball to begin!

Nope their roster is slightly different. Their pitching staff will be much better across the board (starters and relievers). They are saying top 5 in MLB right now.
