Are Children Putting Ltz Emblems On Gm's Tailgates?

Heres a funny one...the LTZ emblem on my new 11 Silverado has all the letters crooked like in a little kids classroom. How can they get something like this past "quality control"? I gotta figure out how to resize the pic...its too big a file to attach.

Just a dumb question (sorry not trying to sound like a smart &^#%# seriously) but why did you buy it and not have them fix it before taking delivery first?

Did'nt notice it until I got home. I just got it last week and the dealer is 26 miles away. I figure I'll email them the pic and they can have the parts ready for when they give me the free oil change at 3000 miles. No sense spending money on gas multiple times.

Just remove them, looks better that way anyway. Easier to clean/wax too.

One other theory is when they were cleaning the truck at the dealer the guy drying or if they buffed it hit them and messed them up. I can move the LT on my tahoe (I have done it when drying when the towel caught the edge of the T). I can then move them back (they dont move much but definitely can make them not straight.

With all I have seen recently it looks like GM is having a world of trouble with quality control. I think they have picked quanity instead....

Couldn't agree more, I'd use that as an incentive to debadge. The tailgate atleast!
