Spray In Bedliner On Nnbs

Just out of curiosity, how many of you that have had a Line-X spray job also got your truck back with the yellow Line-X decal on the back window? Also, was there a plastic sticker affixed to the inside of the bed somewhere?

Most all of the trucks I have seen around here that have a Line-X spray job also have the vinyl rear window sticker and the plastic sticker in the bed. Is this a requirement for the warranty? Is there a discount for "advertising"??

The dealer I bought my truck at had their own Line-X franchise in-house so even though the cost was higher than other places I had them do it as rolling it into the loan made things easier. It had both a sticker on the back glass and a yellow and black emblem in the bed with the name of the dealer and the words "warranty seal" or something. The window sticker came off the night I picked the truck up but I kept the emblem in the bed. The tonneau covers it and with the warranty wording I don't want any troubles if I removed it. Also pulled the dealer logo sticker from the tailgate.

Why not go back and pay a few buck to have the rails sprayed now if you regret not doing it before? They can do that.

Have a fiberglass cap on the bed now so the rails are no longer exposed to damage. When they were exposed, preferred the painted factory appearance but the rails are flimsy material that won't take much abuse. Was shocked to have a garden rake handle fall across the bed and put a small dent in a rail. Probably wouldn't have damage if had beed sprayed.

My dealer leaves the yellow stickers on the counter-top for anyone who wants one, they don't put it on the window. They do put on the plastic badge with that "warranty" wording on it inside the bed. I take it off and put it in my glove box. They are not paying me to advertise for them therefore I will not. Same thing with the GMC and Sierra badges on the tailgate :sigh:

I'm fine with the GM emblems but that's where it ends. The Line-X is now covered by a hard tonneau so it will rarely see the light of day. I wouldn't debadge this truck, my Tacoma on the other hand had too much on the tailgate, one side was Toyota Tacoma and the other was SR5 and V6 emblems. That was a bit much but I leased it so I never did anything major to the truck.

I got the Line-x done with the caps out. I put the caps in later in the week. They were a bit tough to get in, but they went in. I prefer it this way.

They asked me if I wanted the yellow tag glued on the side of the box or not. They said it was mostly for warranty, if fhe tag was attached you did not need your receipt. I had them wrap the receipt around that tag and put it in the glovebox. They normally silicone the tag on.

I also had the under the rails since I already had the GM rail caps on.

Seeing the color matched liner makes me want to get mine done

Just had mine done a couple days ago, same color as yours.

what does the warranty cover? I have a Pendaliner and it protects the bed from just about anything. A guy here at work got a spray in liner and ended up with dents when a landscaping rock slid into the bed at a stop sign.

Sprayed mine ending under the rails because, after measuring, the extra thickness of the liner was going to cause issues with the two inside rails the tonneau cover mounts to, as well as where the cover meets the side rails for a good seal. Sprayed over load tether rings and hole covers inside the bed, drilling two out where I needed drain hoses fed through for the cover rails.

I believe the warranty covers the bedliner. Damage to the bed from not securing your load is not.

Yep. But if you drill any holes or cut out the stake body pockets or modify the liner in anyway the warranty is voided. I found this out from my brother. Pendaliner would not warranty his liner because he had drilled his stake body pockets. The sun baked the over the rail lip and it was twisting upwards.

I would make sure on a spray in that if you have the plugs sprayed that it will not void the warranty to remove them in the future if needed. I did the herculiner as my truck came with a rubber bed mat that would have been a waste to throw out so I put that back in and it protects the herculiner and I have a tonneau so it won't fade. So far so good. It doesn't scratch like paint and looks nice and professional. Still not as good as a spray in but 1/4 the price and like my reflex dealer said if I ever want a "real" Liner they can zip the herculiner off with a DA quickly.

The linex dealer I used removed my plastic caps and tail gate handle bolts. I got the over rails and everything fit right back in. I can take pictures to prove it.
