Just wondering if anyone has put the new RC 4.75" combo (suspension3.5"/1.25 body) on their trucks... Im thinking about it and wanted a little feedback... thanks

Stay away from that 3.5" lift. The body lift is fine.

Wouldn't buying the kit with the upper a-arms put the cv joints and everything else back to the same angles that it had when it was stock?

Um.........no.......been that route. Trust me. Either get a quality suspension lift ( readylift, BDS etc....) or do a leveling kit and body lift.

im not gonna lie, when i first got my truck almost 2 months ago, the first lift i found was the 3.5" lift. I also found this website and with out even asking, i saw all the negative feedback it has recieved... so even though part of me wants a budget friendly 4.75" lift, it doesnt sound like its worth it. especially if you do install and you drill your spindles.... if you take the lift off, you need new spindles, so even IF they buy the lift back from you, now you are screwed and need to fork over more money...

SO.... i bought the 2" leveling kit, and with my 2011 gmc sierra Ext. cab, it leveled my lift almost to 1/8" to perfection. so i also added RC 2" blocks in the rear, which actually raised the rear 3/4".

IMO for the price of a 2" lift from rough country, and the 2.25" lift from ready lift, you are almost paying 2X the price for 1/4" from ready lift...

definately my next move this year is the RC 1.25" body lift, only to keep my lift "rough country"

And I won't lie...... The price is attractive, but the 3" that I had is the same As the "new 3.5" lift. It is shit, and they bought it back from me because of the problems. I haven't had problems from the spindles yet, but that might be what is next.

Check my thread about the humming/grinding when I turn right thread that I started a couple of days ago. That could be the culprit. I'm telling you...stay away from that 3.5" lift. There has been several people who have taken it off in less than a month of having it on.

I was just thinking of that right before I came in here. That could be responsible for your issues.

Still not worth it. And the UCA's look the same as the ones I had. The front end wouldn't align, and they rubbed the coils. Like I said, there have been other people we have tried to talk out of it and they wanted to try it out and took it off in less than a month. There has been other people who have done the same. It's your truck, but not worth the risk IMO.
