Nice looking vehicle you've got there. The only thing that kept me away from the Tundra's was the price. Went to look at a new '11 Camaro a while back, and saw an '11 TRD Tundra for $42,000. That's highway robbery if you ask me!!

GM does the same thing. The LTZ/SLT 1500 trucks list well over $40k. I can buy a similar Tundra for about the same as a GM around here, but I don't have any special discounts beyond the public offerings. That's the thing about GM, you see folks get an extra $2k to $4k "incentive" sometimes, that others don't see or get. I'd rather pricing was more open and "fair", which seems to be how Toyota does it.

its not my first choice for a new truck, but it is still a truck, and it looks sharp. i hope it treats ya well

i really dont like anything about those toyotas, the interiors are on the same level as my 10 year old silverado (IMO)!!!

i do like the rims and tires a lot though, and the fact its not low like most GM trucks.

I know this thread is old as dirt but how's your tundra treating you still got it?

I just traded in my 06 tundra on a 15 sierra cc. Only issues were ebrake assembly on the drums and I had to replace the ignition insert. So 126k trouble free miles. Love the Sierra but it desperately needs a bb tune.

I bought an '08 in 2009 with 11k miles on it. Kept it all the way until late 2013 when I bought a F-150. I really liked the Tundra a lot, the only thing was it really sucked off road. That thing could get stuck on a wet grassy hill. As far as reliability though, I sold it with 110,000 miles on it and literally the only maintenance I did was regular oil changes and rear diff fluid one time. THAT'S IT. It was flawless. Not even brake pads! Maybe I was just really lucky, I don't know but I had a lift and bigger tires on it for most of the time I owned it. I would consider buying another, but I love my Chevy just as much.
