I am having one heck of a time trying to decide what wheel/tire combo I want on my truck. Would you guys care to post some pics of your trucks with some 285's on some stock rims? Maybe this will at least help me to see if I want to keep the stock wheels.

thanks man. ive got an aal ordered to pick the back end up a bit. it squats even if i just have a couple of fully loaded coolers in the bed. something to consider if you put weight in the bed or pull a trailer.

Yeah. I have been hesitant about the lift because I do have a tandem axle trailer I pull once in a while with ATV's. I cant stand a truck to look like its squatting in the rear with very little weight put on it.

Could always add some helper bags!

Ran outside and took a pic real fast. I'll have a better one on my profile later. Mine's only a 2000, so not sure of the exact clearance specs, but with only the 2" torsion key leveling on the front end, I fit 305/70R16's with no problem, no rubbing, and no modifications to the fenders or valance. They're also on the stock 16's. I went with the Dunlop Fierce Attitude MT's. (not to keen on the triangles) The design on the sidewalls helps to strengthen it a little, so they don't do that "bubbling" at the bottom like most radials. They're aggressive, and don't have a whole lot of road noise either. Took advantage of Ford's "match anyone" deal and got them for 195.00 per tire. PLUS, Ford is also offering a 100 dollar mail-in rebate. So all 4, mounted and balanced only cost me 811.00 bucks! Move fast though if you find one through Ford. The deal ends in the end of May.

I really want the BFG KM2 but I am scared it will be too noisy for me and then be stuck with it. It looks so awesome though. Plus they are on backorder.

Do they have a mud tire hum to them? Yes. Are they extremely quiet for a mud tire? Yes. I don't have to crank the radio up to drown them out and I can have a normal conversation with my passenger, talking in a normal tone of voice. They are quiet for a mud tire but they are no All-Terrain or street tire.
