Motive Power Bleed Kit

It's time for me to change brake fluid in my Sierra, and I'm considering this kit...

It cost about as much as Brake Masters wants to exchange brake fluid only once. Is the universal kit as reliable at creating a seal as the one made specifically for GM vehicles? I've seen mixed comments about it online, but I'd like to be able to use it on my other vehicles too.

I have one and love it. It has a good seal and to me the Motive is well worth the cost. Super easy to use.

Go to the Motive Power website and be sure you get the Motive bleeder kit that has the part number specifically for GM vehicles. You won't be sorry. None of that chain and crap, just a good fitting cap. When using it, I have found it best to use a suction gun to exchange as much of the fluid in the master cylinder with clean fluid before you start, that way you aren't having to empty the entire master cylinder through the little bleed holes (you flush until it runs clean. It takes much much longer if you don't swap out the master cylinder fluid ahead of time). Plus, by doing this you avoid running ALL that dirty fluid through the lines. Also, if you're able, use that Delco Supreme 11 DOT 3 brake fluid for the flush. It has proprietary ingredients that really do make it superior.
