Connector Id

There is a connector is found behind a Silverado but also on my 07 Sierra behind the passenger side headlamp assembly. What is it for? There is a green and black wire to the connector. I haven't been able to upload a pic of it. thanks

Could it be for the outside temperature sensor, whose read-out is shown on the dashboard DIC or the interior rearview mirror? That's the correct colors and the right location.
