Ckp Sensor Bad?

I did an engine swap (4.3-'07 to 4.3-'08) and I am having the crank but no start problem . i was troubleshooting the ckp sensor and the sender wire is reading 11.1 volts at all times. correct me if I am wrong but I think it is supposed to send a max of 5 volts and only when the crankcase tells it to ? This is slowly becoming a PIA .

  Didn't I read where if Gm does the valve body on the "Allison", you get a 10yr/150k warranty? Kinda wish mine has a minor blip around 24k. Get a free trans service, and a pile of warranty.
