Do you not need it because you have the factory bed cap on there? my dad has a bak cover on his 11' and the factory bed cap... i dont know if he needs this or not..

i have a bakflip and factory bed cap. It is fine. This is for trucks that didn't have the factory bed cap.

I bought a Leer hardshell tonneau cover, which will not work with the factory tailgate cap, so I ordered this one. I did not realize that the Leer hardshell tonneau came with it's own replacement cap to replace the factory piece.
