Why in the hell do these idiotic people think that the very left lane is for drivin slow??? I just made the first half of my trip to Dallas from Sc, and the crazy thing is that there are big signs saying SLOWER TRAFFIC MOVE TO THE RIGHT!!!!! CAN THEY NOT READ!!! I actually had to gun past the people in a rage from the slow speeds they were driving. I want to ram all them off the damn road but instead I drove past them in a fury!!! This crap is insanely annoying and I hope that the next half of the trip is not the same...

I feel your pain man. Sometimes you just wanna fly and ass hole's on the road will be poking around doing 65 or 70. Or better yet i hate it when you got a good speed going and people stop to turn making you slow all the way down.

annoying as it is, just learn to go around them and ignore it, you can't fix stupid..

you are stressing yourself out over something you can't control.. you have to learn to just anticipate and go around..

else you can mount some red and blue strobes on the front of your vehicle, climb up their ass and light them up scaring the snot outta them.. but be careful not to get caught..

yes but in some areas the left lane is the passing lane, if you are not passing you are required to move right, if someone is attempting to pass you, you are required to move right..

regardless of the "speed limit" if you are blocking the left lane, you are creating a dangerous situation for other drivers, especially on open country roads where there are POSTED signs telling slower traffic to stay right..

There are now at least 4 states that I know of that will cited the left lane hog over a speeder for impeding the flow of traffic, because they have now passed laws designating the left lane as a passing lane only..

I totally agree, and I do stay to the right when the lanes are limited. I was mostly talking about the 5-6 lane freeways we have here in Phoenix where I'll be in the 2nd or 3rd lane going 70 in a 65 and someone will drive right up my butt and expect me to move over when there are at least 4 other lanes for them to choose from. I mean, in a 65, how fast do these people expect me to go? I'll go 5 over and after that I really don't care what others do.

I totally agree, and I do stay to the right when the lanes are limited. oh I'm the same way, and agree about the multi-lane highways thru the cities.. but I have no desire to get into a road rage match with anyone, I'll move over and let them go by, especially so I can point and laugh in a few hundred yards when I pass them again and again and again because they are playing the speed up, slow down game and I maintain a steady pace.

I've even been a ass a few times and made a point to say something like "congratulations you beat me to the off ramp by 3 seconds"

just because your going 90 in a 65 and the people in the left lane ahead of you are doing the speed limit does not entitle you to mark them as "slow" it is a SPEED LIMIT not a rough guess on what speed you should do...i'm that guy that goes the speed limit or maybe 5 over but i do not put the pedal to the floor on feel the need to drive like an idiot...i'm sick and tired of people driving like its a god damn race everywhere, just because im going the designated speed limit and you don't like it dosen't mean you should ride my ass, it does not make me go faster it makes me drive slower..people also need to realise i drive a pickup truck, just because you got a cobalt ss that can accelerate faster does not mean i can push a button and rocket boosters flop out of my bed...

not around here, i take country roads to where i'm going because i like to just relax and listen to the vortec hum with a little music in there..but theres always some dumbass that has to come flying up, ride my ass for miles then pass me..i by no means drive slow like old people but i don't drive like i need to get to a fire i try to enjoy my 40 minute commute not worry about trying to go fast enough to please people..let alone the roads around here are shit so i try to avoid the craters and broken bits of the road and with people up my ass it really adds to the stress factor..i'm sorry if those nascar wannabe FIB drivers don't give a shit about the pleasure factor or the abuse their vehicles take but i do so piss off

I get angry too but the speed limit is an upper speed limit and if people don't go over that, I understand. Some people get a "probationary period" after a traffic violation and if they don't get in any trouble during that time, they can get the ticket erased from their record. My brother and sister-in-law have each had several of these, so I can understand why people don't speed. I don't, and if you crash while you are speeding you're just going to make the damage and injuries worse. Take a chill pill and slow down.

However, if someone is holding up the entire flow of traffic because they are pacing someone else who is going slow, that pisses me me off.

Honestly, in a 30 minute or so trip you don't really save any appreciable amount of time by hauling ass so slow down for yours and everyone else's safety.

on a side note the formula is something like for every 10 over the speed limit your saving maybe a minute or so of time

So if I understand some of you correctly...The speed limit sign is the absolute law, and the "slower traffic keep right" and "left lane for passing only" signs are only suggestions?
