08 Silverado Fog Light Replacement

I picked up 2 sets of Rigid industries dually lights and proceeded to install them on my 08 Silverado. I never really thought the stock fog lights did a whole lot and have wanted to upgrade them for a while now. HID’s are the big thing right now but I wanted to do something different. So this is what I came up with. I went with an amber and white combo for the best results, white for the off road/ back road nights and amber for the fogy, rainy, snowy low vis conditions. Although the kits did come with wiring harness they were far too short for my application so I ended up cutting and splice the two together to make one long one. To make the whites and ambers independent from each other I tied one set into the stock fog light wiring and the other in to the harness I made. I feel the final product turned out quite nice. I am quite amazed at how clear and bright these little lights are. Although I am still in the process for finding the right aiming for best results I am impressed. Also looking at a pair of these, I was thinking about mounting them on either side of the license plate, mounting them to the plastic next to the tow hooks, but your design looks good,

 

do you have a pick of the complete front end of your truck with the lights? daytime pic would be best.

 

what brack did you use to mount these? also I noticed these are upside down does that affect lighting?

i just did something similar yesterday with a set of small round, both are white one is a fog pattern and one is a driving pattern, they're the new piaa LED lights, they're stupid bright and far bettr than my HID's i had previously
