Nothing like browsing the internet's vast listing of folks who have trouble with XM-Radio customer service to remind myself NOT to sign up for it!

They're boobs. They make the customer service guys from India look like Albert Einstein. I've never gotten a problem fixed with one phone call, it always takes multiple calls and no one seems to know what the other person did. I have a couple of months free left on my truck and don't have any intentions of re-upping. My free year has already been disconnected twice, I've probably spent over an hour on the phone trying to get it back on. They can bite me.

i just called today to renew the subsription in my wife's new car. the number i called in the letter i got reminding me it was expiring and they answered the phone immediately. the lady didn't sound indian. i guess their sales dept is on top of things... just not their customer service dept; go figure!

the bad thing about it now is you only have 2 plans to choose from, there used to be like 4 or 5. the one i liked was called "Mostly Music" and didn't have any bells and whistles, just music stations. well now i have to pay $2 or $3 more per month for "XM Select"

So what is the latest pricing? I always liked but they wanted way to much money. I was hoping they would eventually get it and lower the price. Then I think they would really see the customer base grow. But I guess they just do not see it that way.

I got a promo after the trial ended for $30 for 6 months. Month to month is like $13 I think and there are packages that are discounted. I'll probably keep it, there is still some good stuff on there though I miss Fungus which was my favorite station.

i had sirius for over a year and cancelled it because i really didnt like it. it was nice when i drove 5 hours out of town and into the sticks with no reception. but it was worse than regular radio for repeated music. right now my new truck has it, previous owner must have left it hooked up. i barely use it and wont renew when it runs out. i just dont like it enough to pay for it
