if you don't have the remote tape or cd player there is a cubby hole that goes in there.  The install is a snap.

This pic may clarify things a bit more, between the two pieces there are two screws that can be accessed by removing the cupholder tray.  Very easy install.

And yes, they come in your interior color, just make sure you get the correct part number.

Will that piece fit with the floor mount manual four-wheel drive shifter? I'm guessing no but you never know!

Don't be so quick to doubt.

I think my truck was the only one in existence w/ the floor mounted shifter and a full console.  It took a little customizing work, but I was very happy with the results and it looked factory.

I installed the rear half, then I notched out a bit of the front half and kept going back and forth to get it just right for full movement of the shifter.  Before I installed it I put a piece of the black door edge gaurd on it to give it a clean look.  I was more than pleased w/ the results.

That is a nice looking photo on the console there Jon.

I originally was going to install the rear portion, but then I looked at it and got to thinking....  long story short, I made it work :D

That's what it's all about.  Keep picking up a few things every so often along the road of truck ownership.
