I Am Falling Out Of Love With The My Truck, Need Motivation

I bought an 08 crew cab 2wd blue granite metallic silverado about two years ago, the new is long gone now. I thought the color was great when I bought it I didnt want the same ol blacked out truck that I see at every red light I wanted something a little different but now I am really second guessing that decision so if you have a pic of one that you think looks good I would love to have some motivation. thanks

 

 

P.S. Im not hating on blacked out trucks just trying to think out side the box

That granite metallic is the best color I like. I money you will loose by getting rid of it will be greater then having it painted to the color you like.

Throw some mods on there..

Tint the windows, bull bar / brushguard, dual exhaust, bigger tires , etc... That will make u fall in love again.

 

Thats why i keep adding stuff to mine. lol

 

Or u could do like i did and add a train horn! that puts a smile on my face all the time

lift it, chop the exhaust off or get a new one, put some thumpin subs in it, a supercharger, giant rims and tires, etc, you get the point

Rear wheel liners are cool, too. Little less than a hundred bucks and they make that part of your truck look like a million dollars.

Wash it and clean it up really good on the inside. That always helps me a lot, and it's cheap.

Paint it orange! As said, post some pics, do some mods, make it your own and love it!

I'm with you on the blacked out look. It looks sweet, but its a little over done. Personalize it man, make it yours.

Just some simple things will make you fall in love again. Its all up to you on what you want. I like the blue but its a PITA to keep cleen. But when it is clean it looks sharp

Go get a trade in price and consider how much $$$ you'll be saving by keeping it. (Usually this works wonders for me)

 

Also, give the truck a name. It's a little harder to trade a "family member."

 

From someone who has traded too much over the years, you'll get tired of a new one as well. Enjoy what you have.

Get to moddin', you will love it again. Blacked out certainly isn't the only option.

JMO, but after you get rid of that one, do you ever wish you had it back? If so, you should have kept it and saved the money.
