What is this on the exhuast? its after the flex tubbing but before the muffler.

haha i'm thinking the flux. but both the cats are infront of that flex pipe. So i'm def confused. Any help will be great. not a flux capacitor haha thanks tho.

Probably your post Cat. Most vehicles now a days have 3-4 sometimes more cat converters. Is there an O2 Sensor before or after it?

The more I look at it the more I am convinced it is another CAT.

Yep, it's another catalytic convertor. Most vehicle nowadays haves several. It breaks down slightly different components of the exhaust gas than the primary convertor (some call it 'polishing' the exhaust) to meet EPA requirements.

there is no o2 sensors, it has four total 2 infront of the cats coming off the manifolds and two right after those cats coming off. so would it effect the truck performance if i took it off? cuz i wanna true dual it. with a H pipe.

You won't gain anything from removing the cat other than slightly more noise and a smelly exhaust. Gutting/removing cats is stupid and irresponsible. Leave it there.

how would i leave it and still true dual then? i'm asking for ideas cuz i'm not in the states so its kinda hard for me to see whats under the truck etc. i'm sitting in afghanistan so i'm trying to do what i can from here. reason why i joined this forum was for help so anything will help man.

I'd pass on true duals and get a quality catback (Corsa, Magnaflow, etc.).
