Cd Problem

Grandson's sign along cd is in player and it will not play, or eject. Anyone have any ideas on how to get it out? I will try almost anything!!!

The CD player in my wife's 05 Tahoe did the same thing. There is a small plastic gear inside the unit that is broken. To remove the CD, use something very flat (I used a couple of paint scrapers) to "pinch" the CD and you should be able to pull it out. Warning though...you will probably scratch the CD when trying to remove it, so be prepared for it to not play in any other player when/if you do get it out.
