2009 Silverado Windshield Moulding

I just noticed both moulding/weatherstripping running vertical on both the driver and passenger sides of the windshield are peeling away. Could I just replace the 3M tape that seems to be holding them on now, or is this a dealership problem?

If still covered under the 3 yr 36k warranty and close to dealer, Let them fix, other wise just replace the 3m tape and go on with life.

Thanks...I also noticed water under my sill plate after a hard rain...could this be from the moulding or something else?

possible, but not likely, the water is comming from somewhere else.

the moulding on the outside is more for looks and not for water proofing at least not on my truck which is an 08 which should be the same body but mine is a crew cab truck.
