Plow For 2002 TB

Do they make a plow for the 02/03 TB? I would love to get one down the road for my truck.

I now have a fisher minute mount 7.5' plow on my 2001 blazer, but I will get rid of that truck next year.

As far as i know, GM might void parts of your warrenty for plowing with the TrailBlazer.

My dealer is very good to me, and didn't void the warranty of the 2001 blazer with a plow, so it wouldn't be a problem.

MA Trailblazer- Can you tell me how you mounted a 7.5' Fisher on an S-10 Blazer, or are you talking about a Full Size Blazer? We have a 1990 Blazer with a 6' Plow. But I was told by the Fisher Rep. that they don't make plows for the 1995-2002 Chevy S-10 or Jimmy's becuase they cannot meet Federal Transportation Saftey Guidlines due to weight. Not to mention that our insurance company won't insure one of these vehicle with a plow on it, since it is not D.O.T. approved?

We run 7.5' Fishers on a couple of full size Bronco's and our 1979 1500 Step-Side.

What did you do, just custom mount the assembley to fit the Blazer Chasis??

I need to learn how to type. I have a 6.5' plow on the blazer.

I bought the plow new to go on a 95 S-10 blazer, and have transferd it to my 98 and now a 2001 S-10 blazer. I did have to get a new harness when I switched it to the 98, as the 95 harness would not work. The new harness works on the 98 and 2001.

Fisher only sold this set up for a few years, and I was told by fisher that the front axle is not rated to handle the extra weight, so they stopped selling it. Fisher just came out with a new style plow for the S-10 blazer, but I am sure it is very light duty.

The only change I made to my plow was to remove the plastic trip edge, and replace it with a metal one.I have used it to plow my house and office for many years now, without a problem. I do not plow with it to make money.

OK now it makes sense. I also saw some Fisher 6' plows on the 1995-1996 S-10s, and then that was it. When I contacted Fisher they told me they didn't offer them, not that they stopped selling them. They might offer a snowplow that fits the TB once the new Colorado comes out. What is a pickup truck without a snowplow. Since it is the same frame, I would think it would bolt up. But I guess only time will tell.

I would mount a plow to a Blazer..I'm leary of putting one on my 2500HD...that's just my opinion..but that doesn't answer your question.. So I looked around for mounting platforms and plows for the TB and couldn't find anything, probly due to the newness of the vehicle..
