Weathertech Or Husky?

Like the title states, Weathertech's or Husky floor liners? What you do like best? I had the Husky's in my '98 and while they performed well at keeping the winter/spring/fall time messes contained, they didn't fit for crap and for $75 a pair, I feel that is unacceptable. Have they gotten better or still the same? I'd specifically like to hear from people with a 900 ext. cab's, to be honest, because I know they all fit differently from one to the next, a bit.

Have had both floor liners in my 2010 EC and I prefer the Weathertech. Fit perfectly and do not move.

We sell both WeatherTech Floor Liners and Husky Floor Liners. Honestly, you really can't go wrong either way you go they are both great quality but WeatherTech is definitely the more popular seller. We sell a lot of them and people really love them. We are also offering Free Shipping to the lower 48 states on orders over $70 for a VERY limited time.

I had weathertech in my 08 extended cab and absolutely loved them! I'm fixing to order them for the new crew cab  the weathertechs are a hair more $ but well worth it in my opinion

I had huskys in my 2000 and they did well. Have huskys in my 08 Tahoe and they slide around alot and the fit isnt very good (much worse than my 2000 was). I have the weathertech (or trailgear II from cabelas, they are made by weather tech for cabelas and branded trailgear II however they came in weathertech boxes, plus they were cheaper and are identical) in my 2010 and love them. Fit is exceptional. I would go weathertech again, thought about buying a set for the Tahoe and scraping the huskys

I just installed WeatherTech liners, front and rear in my 2010 Silverado and am very pleased with them. I ordered the two piece front with one piece rear. The fronts fit like a glove and stay in place, they don't move around and I did not ust the screw in plastic piece when I installed them. The rear was a little out of shape right when I took it out of the box but I suspect it's because it was folded to fit in the box. I got the two piece fronts because it would be easier to dump them out outside the truck, the one piece would be difficult without getting mud/dirt/water all over the truck.

They have been in for 5 days now and it seems to be getting it's shape back and fits and looks much better. We had about 9" of snow last night and the liners worked great, they were not slippy and drained right out the door. I was looking at the Husky liners but the WeatherTech's seem like they are stronger and made better.....I say WeatherTech hands down.

FYI: I got mine off of ebay. Don't have the seller's name on hand because I am at work but my total for the fronts and rear shipped was $189.00. Couldn't find a price like that anywhere. The next cheapest I founf was around $207.00 shipped. Look around on ebay before buying them from another website/store.

Ryan00TJ,

We sell both Husky Liners and WeatherTech Liners. What about the WeatherTech Liners did you like more than the Husky liners?

Steve

I got the Weather Tech liners after doing some research and getting opinions from members of this forum. The Weather Tech liners looked much "cleaner" fitting than the Husky's IMO. The Husky liners have a lip that seems like it will get in the way while getting in and out of the truck. The Weather Tech's are smooth and level out on the door sills. The Weather Tech rear floor liner covers the entire rear floor where the Husky's do not. It has also been said by forum members that have had both that the Husky's tend to move around a little and not stay in place. The Weather Tech liners did come with a driver side fastener to secure it but I didn't use it and it still does not slide around.

The ONLY negative I see with the Weather Tech liners is they do not offer the front center hump liner seperate, you have to buy the one piece front which I didn't want. I wanted to be able to remove the liner one at a time and dump out water/mud/snow easily. It seems like the front one piece would be a hassle to clean off....Tonight I ordered a Husky Weatherbeater front center hump liner, hopefully it will have a good fit with the Weather Tech's. If not, I'll just have to trim it a little.
