the guys there tend to "live and breath" gmfs.... its definitely a lot more "clique-ish" than other forums. Just like high-school, if you don't fit into their clique or conform to their ideologies then you're subject to ridicule (which they love to give out BTW). You definitely need thick skin to hang around there.... And firing back wont get you anywhere except 100x worse replies from members who seek out such opportunities to "p0wn" you.

 

so yeah... it boils down to "different strokes". I'm on every forum and each one has its own personality. if you don't like another forum, don't take it personally. ...

Like said before its rough if you don't fit in. I find that to be true on about 99% of the automotive forums I have visited (even a little here). If you can look past the bull there is some information to be had. Now I mostly frequent the photo section if anything.

Every forum serves a purpose. I enjoy all the GM sites I'm a member of for the most part. You just have to remember that this is the interwebz, and you can't take what people say on a website to heart. Trust me, I've been bashed on GMFS, but you just have to dish it right back and move on with life.
